CIPDH Immigration Department and Ethnic Resettlers
The CIPDH Administrative Council during the last official meeting have made the decision (due to CIPDH PV-38. 28/09/2018) to authorise mr. NURABAYEV DANIYAR as the Director of CIPDH Immigration Department.  The new staff of the CIPDH Immigration Department with support of a number of external specialists, advocates and experts will provide guidance to State-administered programs that provide assistance and services to refugees, ethnic resettlers, asylees, and Victims of Human Trafficking (henceforth referred to collectively as “refugees”).
CIPDH Immigration Department monitors program planning, provision of services, and provides technical assistance to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing the delivery of refugee assistance and services, including cash and medical assistance. Also CIPDH Immigration Department provides direction to States to ensure that refugees are provided assistance and services through State-administered programs that enable them to become employed and economically self-sufficient as soon as possible after their arrival in the country.
KAz-State-ProgramAt the present the CIPDH Immigration Department working only in Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Among the priority programs of the Department is Kazakhstan Oralman state program. Now repatriation of Kazakhs to their historical homeland is one of the main priorities of the country’s migration policy. At the governmental level, measures are taken to establish mechanisms of repatriation of ethnic Kazakhs including their organized immigration and the creation of conditions for their life and activity at the place of their settlement.
